RE: MUSIC Fall Workshops

Missouri United School Insurance Council in partnership with Missouri Consultants for Education will be conducting our annual school law workshops. The registration form with dates and location choices are attached. All sessions will last approximately 2 hours to allow time for your questions and answers. Please share the agenda with your administrative staff and feel free to include any School Board Members who may benefit from some of our topics. Indicate on the registration form how many participants will be attending from your District or College.
This year’s topics are designed to assist you with some of the training and staffing issues faced by members in tough economic times. Our sessions will provide guidelines and recommendations to help you stay compliant and avoid potential litigation.
The Key Topics are as follows:
- Policies, Procedures and Practices for Implementing the Amy Hestir Act
- Investigating Allegations of Sexual Abuse
- Compliance with EEOC's New Regulation on Disability Discrimination
- Service Dogs - Latest Court and Compliance Issues
- Improving Instruction with a Small Staff
