Member Training

MUSIC Members receive access to a wide range of training opportunities throughout the year. Member training and webinars are readily available to members online by using the Member Login.

MUSIC Workshops and Webinars

In an effort to keep our members informed on legal topics and the current issues in the world of education, MUSIC hosts workshops and webinars throughout the year. Webinars may also be conducted to help administrators to fully understand coverages and how to use the plan efficiently.

The Board and staff have also instituted an innovative, nationally-recognized, web-based training program to educate the school community on what to look for in the behavior of those who would sexually abuse our children.  Tens of thousands of Missouri school employees and volunteers have received the training.

MUSIC & SafeSchools Partnership

The following features of the SafeSchools Training System and courses will be provided to you by MUSIC. These are resources that we believe will help member districts and community colleges to meet their training and development goals. The only course MUSIC will be requiring is MUSIC Sexual Misconduct: Staff to Student.

Join us for an in depth webinar to review the implementation process, along with key features and functions of the Admin Area within SafeSchools Training. We’ll also discuss the importance of updating employee data, how to create new or reassign training plans, run compliance reports and other need-to-know best practices.
