July 29 |  1:00 – 4:00 PM > MOAPT Special Services Transportation Training*

*The Poplar Bluff R-1 School District will host the MOAPT Special Services Transportation Training immediately following the MUSIC School Bus Driver Training. Scheduled from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the MOAPT training will be held in the same facility. The session will be led by Keith Henry and does not require prior registration.

The 2026 School Bus Driver training is for anyone who has a driver training requirement. Bus drivers, or others with an “S” endorsement, can attend.

This training will

• Review current accident statistics in school transportation with an overview of Missouri specific incidents
• Provide school transportation safety best practices and how to reduce potential liability
• Inform participants on how to respond to a crisis, including fire, tornado, active shooter, etc.
